We are pleased to announce that Meredith Yuckman has been named the new Executive Director of The Hope Center at Pullen. She will take the reins on January 2, 2019.
Many of you already know Meredith and her commitment to our work. She has served as the Program Coordinator for The Hope Center since 2014, spearheading the development of the Tutoring and Internship Programs that prepare young people in foster care for a successful transition to adulthood. In this role, she worked closely with Wake County Human Services and most recently was instrumental in securing a three year contract with the County to support The Hope Center’s work with young people in foster care.
Meredith is an experienced administrator and has developed and shaped programs that support at-risk youth for nearly 20 years. She has a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master’s of Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.
Meredith looks forward to this new chapter, “It is an honor to be chosen to lead such a vibrant organization. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving The Hope Center at Pullen as we light a path toward a safe and stable future for former foster youth.”
Warren Ludwig, Chair of the Board of Directors, expressed the sentiments of the whole Hope Center team. “The Board and staff are very excited that Meredith will be our new director.”
