Cary Women’s Giving Network Grant Announcement: June 4, 2018

The Cary Women’s Giving Network, a component fund of the North Carolina Community Foundation, awarded a community grant to The Hope Center to support our work with young people who are working toward maintaining long-term stable housing.  Our Transition Specialists, in partnership with Wake County and supporters like the Cary Women’s Giving Network, help locate scarce affordable housing and then empower our young people to break down the barriers they face to obtaining meaningful employment and reaching their educational goals.

We are immensely grateful for this grant and are excited to report that THREE new young people moved into apartments in the first week of June. We are proud of them and are looking forward to continuing to guide them as they take the next right step to a stable, independent and thriving adulthood.
