2019 Raising Hope Recap

Wow! We are still smiling about what a GREAT night we had at the 2019 Raising Hope Gala! The event was held on June 6, 2019 at The Woman’s Club of Raleigh.  We raised over $60,000!!! Thank you to everyone who came, sponsored and donated. You blew us away with your generosity. Kristin Cooper and Elizabeth Gardner, thank you for helping us BEAT OUR GOAL and making this our best Raising Hope ever!

Jessica Holmes, Chair of the Wake County Board of Commissioners, was one of our 2019 Bridge of Hope Award Winners. She used her platform to give a voice to the vulnerable and encouraged everyone in attendance to use our positions to be a Bridge of Hope for our vulnerable friends and neighbors. She said, “[Nita} said something that really struck a chord with me: ‘When it comes to our stories, we can’t always control how it starts or even how it ends.’ But, I tell you what we can do in the meantime. We can be a Bridge of Hope and each person has the ability to do that.”

In case you missed it, you can check out the photos from the event here.

Stay tuned for details about 2020’s Raising Hope.  We promise you won’t want to miss it.
