2019 Intern Celebration and Macy’s Shopping Spree

We closed out August with our annual End of Summer Internship Celebration.  It was a beautiful event.  Social workers, Guardians ad Litem, site supervisors, foster parents and community partners gathered to celebrate our interns’ accomplishments.

The celebration ended with our announcement that one of our new community partners, Macy’s, intended to give each intern a shopping spree in its Crabtree store!  The shopping spree was such fun. Macy’s provided breakfast and personal shopping assistants to help our youth find just the right look.  They celebrated our interns’ hard work in completing their summer work opportunities and went EVEN FURTHER by gifting us with a $3,000 grant.  Thank you, Macy’s!!
